The R's won the Championship last season, ending their 15-year absence from the top flight, but despite securing promotion Warnock was frustrated in early attempts to bolster his squad before completing the signings of Jay
Bothroyd, Kieron Dyer and Danny Gabbidon.Blackpool striker DJ Campbell and Southampton winger Jason Puncheon could soon be joining the trio at Loftus RoadFormer Sheffield United manager Warnock said: "Well, we're talking to a number of players. We're hoping to bring in two or maybe three players in the next week before the start of the season."We've gone slowly about our job but I think we've got some good players in and we're looking to bring two or three other good players in. We haven't gone silly and signed them straight away but we've been working hard behind the scenes."So it's very encouraging and the way we've been playing in Italy was very good against different types of opponents but you're going to get that in the Premier League."There's something different every week isn't there so I'm sure we can ruffle a few feathers."In fairness, I think I've got three very good players and if we can get two or three on top of that, then I think we finish the business just at the right time before that first game of the season."
