The summer signing from Millwall believes the Canaries can emulate the likes of Wigan Athletic and West Bromwich Albion by establishing themselves in the top division.
Manager Paul Lambert may have been quick to bolster his promotion-winning squad with Wales international Morison, striker James Vaughan from Everton, midfielder Elliott Bennett from Brighton and Belgian defender Ritchie De Laet in a season-long loan from Manchester United, but the Norfolk club remain favourites to suffer a quick relegation
"Once you get into the top flight you want to stay in it because so much hard work is required to get to that stage," Morison said.
"The Premier League is where this club belongs and I'm sure that the manager and the team will do everything they can to make us stay there.
"The performances of previously promoted clubs have given everyone hope and belief of staying in the top flight and that is a big thing for sides that get to this level.
"You need belief and heart to have any chance of making that happen and the likes of West Brom and Wigan have shown that clubs that go up don't necessarily come back down."
Delia Smith and the Norwich board have promised Lambert all of the initial £37m television income from their promotion windfall to go towards team building.
The Scot, who has overseen back-to-back promotions since his appointment just under two years ago, feels he will still need several more additions ahead of Norwich's first Premier League fixture in six seasons at Wigan on 13th August.
Huddersfield Town winger Anthony Pilkington is said to be on Lambert's wanted list, with Leeds United holding out for an ambitious £8m deal for Robert Snodgrass.
Peterborough United frontman Craig Mackail-Smith, Wigan winger Victor Moses and Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews are also reported targets for the Norfolk club, as well as Tottenham Hotspur winger David Bentley, who had a loan spell with the Canaries in their 2004/05 Premier League campaign when he was an Arsenal youngster.
