The Republic of Ireland international has been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer but has shrugged it off.Doyle has been linked with a big-money switch to Arsenal but he remains at Molineux and will be hoping to build on a return of nine goals last season. The 27-year-old started his pre-season preparations with a fine goal in the 2-1 defeat at Crewe Alexandra on Saturday afternoon and Kightly thinks that was just reward for his hard work."Kevin's a top, top player and sometimes he doesn't get the goals he deserves for his work-rate," he said after the match at Gresty Road."He deserves that and hopefully he can get many more for us."Kevin's not the type of person to let anything like that (transfer speculation) worry him or affect his game."He just gets on with his work and stays level-headed as he always does."Defender Roger Johnson made his first appearance for Wolves since completing his move from Birmingham City and Knightly thinks he will prove to be a tremendous acquisition."We know Roger's a top player," he added."He's had two good years in the Premier League with Birmingham and he's a great addition to the club."He's an ambitious person and a good character and hopefully he can help us push on."
